Stewart Vidler is a Networked Specialist Facilitator with the NSW Dept of Education in the Central West of NSW. His background is as a secondary HSIE and HSIE teacher, in a variety of schools on the Central Coast and Central West of NSW. After establishing a Return From Suspension Centre in Orange, Stewart went onto Head Teacher and Deputy Principal roles while retaining a strong interest in student wellbeing and how the 'whole student' could be supported for success at school.
Stewart became a Facilitator in 2015, managing complex cases, providing capacity building opportunities and triggering collective impact initiatives since. He sees public education as both the solid bedrock of local communities and at the same time able to offer dynamic solutions to the challenges those communities face, especially when collaborating with local orgaisations.
Stewart is currently acting in the role of Director School Services.
