Lisa Lum is the Head Teacher of Beverly Hills Intensive English Centre with over 25 years of teaching experience in both Intensive English Centres and mainstream EAL/D. She is one of the Principal Writers of the revised IEP Curriculum Frameworks, which is designed to incorporate the key aspects of the new English EAL/D Syllabus. Over recent years she has been involved in a variety of research projects including an ESL Pedagogy Action Research project and various new education methods in conjunction with the UNSW School of Education. She has coordinated the International Students program for 11 years and is heavily involved with the welfare of all newly arrived students from many different educational backgrounds.
