David Munday has been working in a variety of rural and remote schools throughout Western and North Western NSW for the last 25 years.
He has been Principal for 16 years at Mallawa PS, Coonamble PS and is currently at Aldavilla PS, in Kempsey.
David has a keen interest in sustainability education and has conducted several projects within both his school and his wider network of schools.
In 2008 , David instigated the Human Sign project in Kempsey and produced a DVD on taking action around climate change which was distributed to 2200 NSW Schools.
Since then he has been working on several local sustainability projects trying to make a difference in the local/global area.
Most recently David’s school has commenced a local project trying to eliminate fruit juice poppers from the school and to encourage those companies to improve the recyclability of their packaging.
