Kerry Johnson is currently a Professional Support Officer for the NSW Teachers Federation and previously served as a Relief Officer in the Industrial/Research section of the Union. She has also relieved as Trade Union Training Officer and Deputy Branch Secretary (Communications and Administration). She is currently the Officer attached to Federation’s Principals’ Committee.
Kerry has over 30 years’ teaching experience in a range of metropolitan, regional and rural schools as a secondary English/History teacher, Support Teacher and Special Education teacher. She worked as a consultant for the Disadvantaged Schools Program (later Priority Schools Programs) supporting schools in south-western Sydney and as State Coordinator of Equity Programs. She completed her Master of Education in Practitioner Research at UWS where she established strong links with the Fair Go Team.
