Mark Rafidi is an English teacher working at Ulladulla High School. He has taught full-time for over 20 years in Sydney, Bega, Milton and Ulladulla. He is a former Head Teacher and has taught in both private and public schools.
Mark completed his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Teaching at the University of Western Sydney. Since then, he has had three books published along with numerous journal articles. He has worked in publishing and completed his Doctorate of Creative Arts recently at the University of Sunshine Coast.
Mark has consistently taught Stage 6 English, particularly the Advanced, Extension 1 and 2 courses. He has written for mETAphor, Australian Association for the Teaching of English and Screen Education. He has presented at ETA events for HSC students and teachers as well as recently running workshops for Extension English through the University of Wollongong.
