Introduction to Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher Accreditation

To support school leaders in their work, the Centre of Professional Learning (CPL) and our Trade Union Training (TUT) section have teamed up to offer a series of Leadership Webinars in Term 4.

This course will introduce Proficient Teachers to the higher levels of accreditation. It will cover the requirements for higher level accreditation and foreshadow the new Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher Accreditation Policy which includes changes to the application process. Additionally, it will introduce principals and teachers to the process of exploring practice and impact in relation to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the HALT career stages.

Completing an Introduction to Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher Accreditation webinar will contribute 1 hour of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
