Implications for school leaders of the EPAC Review

To support school leaders in their work, the Centre of Professional Learning (CPL) and our Trade Union Training (TUT) section have teamed up to offer a series of Leadership Webinars in Term 4.

In 2019, the Department of Education commissioned Mr Mark Tedeschi AM QC to conduct a review into the functions and operations of the Employee Performance and Conduct Directorate (EPAC) in the Department. This webinar focuses on the key findings of that review and the changes that have taken place within the Department in relation to implementing its recommendations.

Participants will develop an understanding of the impact and implications of the recommendations of the Tedeschi Review into departmental practice and priorities in relation to the investigation and management of employee misconduct and the imposing of disciplinary and remedial action.

Completing an Implications for school leaders of the EPAC Review webinar will contribute 1 hour and 30 minutes of NESA Registered PD addressing 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
