Elaine Slawski

Elaine Slawski has extensive teaching experience, and over the past twenty years, has worked in a number of NSW schools. Her professional roles include primary classroom teacher, specialist classroom music teacher, choir and band program director, concert band conductor and private instrumental tutor. For the past five years, Elaine has lectured in Music and Movement Education at The University of Technology, Sydney and is an assessor for Orff Schulwerk teacher training levels. She also has an emerging interest in neuroscientific studies about the way our brains process information, music and the implications for teaching practices.
